“The Memory of the World”, 2013
“The Memory of the World” 1 is a grasp of a moment in a memory. It maps and portrays the ephemeral nature of that moment with a set of lines—a line being a tool invented by the civilization to depict and define the world.
Roughly three hundred lines map this momental moment in a memory.
1 The title comes from Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s The Visible and the Invisible .
